Hey, thanks for being here. I’m Carmen, and this is where I share my reflections on life, inner work, and anything that makes me feel alive. Some of them are cross-posted from Twitter, where I write long posts.
I chose the name “Altered” because something that is altered is left changed, but retains its original nature. I feel like this describes my life pretty well, where the sets and characters change often, but an enduring quality curiously remains. Tension and release, pleasure and pain, change and stability. Through it all, I’m alive.
All my posts are (at least for now) free. You are welcome to do a paid subscription if you wish, but you won’t really get extra perks. Just knowing that people are reading the words I write is enough for me.
